AOHUPO Mission Statement

  • To promote the international exchange of knowledge and research techniques via training fellowships, instructional courses and workshops, as well as organization and funding for international meetings;
  • To provide expert advice to governmental and non-governmental agencies on the support of human and other proteome research;
  • To collect and distribute information on human and other proteome-related programs and projects;
  • To promote open access to major resources for human proteome analysis, such as databases, collections of DNA clones, cell lines and other biological samples;
  • To act as liaison with other international organizations involved in proteome research and related development and providing support for or assistance with their activities.
